ASEAN REPEAT organized the Technical Exchange on Sustainable Peatland Management on 1 – 3 October 2024 in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. This exchange also marks the closing of pilot site implementation, and the launching of Peatland Center and Aceh Peat Information System, which was supported by the project.

“The Peatland Center and the SIGAM that we launch today is a strategic step towards better peat management. Through collection of accurate data and technological innovation, we will be able to formulate more effective and responsive policies,” said Zulkifli, Second Assistant of the Secretariat of Aceh Province, reading the remarks of Governor of Aceh.
