WRI Indonesia has been assisting the Ministry of National Development Planning (Bappenas) in developing a system dynamics model for low-carbon development in Indonesia. On September 12-13, 2024, a detailed and comprehensive review of the low-carbon development model was conducted through in-depth discussions with cross-sectoral modelers and experts to strengthen and improve the current system dynamics model. This model encompasses several sectors, including waste, energy, IPPU, AFOLU, socioeconomics, industry, and transportation. The activity successfully evaluated the current model and gathered input for future enhancements.
