ETP Presents Roadmap

Indonesia has significant wind energy potential, but current utilization remains low due to an unconducive environment and lack of investment information. To address this, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (MEMR) launched the ‘Wind Energy Development in Indonesia: Investment Plan’ project, led by the Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership (ETP) and implemented by Ponder Consultancy.
On September 26, 2024, ETP delivered reports, including Wind Farm Prospectuses for eight locations on Java and Sumatra, to the Directorate General of New, Renewable Energy, and Energy Conservation (DJEBTKE) at MEMR. These reports aim to attract investors and drive growth in Indonesia’s wind energy sector, marking a key milestone in ETP’s efforts toward sustainable energy development.
