The Field School initiated by Perkumpulan Desa Lestari has had a positive impact on farmers. “This aligns with our aspirations, especially in Kerinci, to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and make use of existing resources,” said Zamri, a coffee farmer from Tamiai Village and a beneficiary of the program.

Perkumpulan Desa Lestari established the Field School to promote sustainable agroforestry practices and raise awareness among farming communities about the effects of environmental changes. By improving the condition of agricultural land and lowering production costs, the program aims to reduce land degradation caused by exploitative and destructive agricultural practices.
