JAMTANI held an “Agriculture YouthCamp and Action Research” in Pangandaran Regency on September 10-12, 2024, themed “Sowing Seeds for the Future: Innovations to Empower Rural Youth for Climate Resilient Farming.” The event brought together 50 young farmers, UNPAD students, and the Joint International Research Team (JIRP) team from Humboldt Universitaet Berlin, Germany, to inspire sustainable, climate-friendly farming innovations. Participants shared experiences, addressed farming challenges like climate change and market access, and built collaborative networks. The highlight was the Agrilympics, where teams competed in outdoor challenges at Madasari Beach, testing their agricultural skills while fostering leadership, cooperation, and innovation. The event provided a platform for knowledge exchange between academia and field practitioners, aiming to drive future sustainable projects within participants’ communities.
