Through the approach of “Mboyong Danyang,” Relung Indonesia invites farmers in Petungkriyono to restore soil fertility using Indigenous Microorganisms (IMO). By connecting regenerative agricultural practices with local beliefs, farmers are encouraged to “bring home the Danyang”—the spiritual guardians believed to ensure farmland productivity but previously driven away by excessive chemical pesticide use.

The Field School initiated by Perkumpulan Desa Lestari has had a positive impact on farmers. “This aligns with our aspirations, especially in Kerinci, to reduce dependence on chemical fertilizers and make use of existing resources,” said Zamri, a coffee farmer from Tamiai Village and a beneficiary of the program.
