CBD COP 16, which will be held from 21 October 2024 in Cali, Colombia, offers an opportunity to evaluate the initial steps taken in implementing the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework (GBF) and pave the way towards the successful achievement of its targets by 2030.
