Improving the Management of Peatlands and the Capacities of Stakeholders in Indonesia

Peat-IMPACTS Indonesia

Many areas of Indonesia’s peatlands are degraded. The project raises awareness on peat management and protection, through improving stakeholder capacities, integrating management into broader landscapes, and blending restoration efforts with public-private sector alignment. This approach aims to improve rural livelihoods sustainably while meeting emission goals outlined in Indonesia’s NDCs.
