Green Academy, which was kicked off on 22 May 2024, is a platform initiated by Bappenas’ Directorate of Environment and supported by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) of the Government of the Republic of Germany through the GIZ Climate and Biodiversity Hub Indonesia. It aims to enhance capacity for sustainable development in Indonesia by providing leadership programs, knowledge-sharing forums, and training within the green economy framework. The platform, developed inclusively with government and non-government stakeholders, will continue to be supported by the GIZ Climate and Biodiversity Hub Indonesia in collaboration with the UK FCDO and WRI Indonesia.
