The Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership facilitated a workshop to discuss the benefits and challenges of decarbonizing the captive power market for sustainable economic development. This was followed by a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on opportunities and challenges in establishing the Net Zero Industrial Park (NZIP) and developing a renewable energy procurement framework for it.

Key outcomes from these sessions include:

• A deeper understanding of the captive power market landscape and its economic impact.
• Insights to refine decarbonization analysis and pathways.

Analysis of power generation data within the smelter industry and the roadmap for nickel decarbonization in Indonesia.
