A two-day local capacity-building workshop was held on August 21-22, 2023, in Mataram City as part of the “100% Renewable Energy by 2050” project, organized by ICLEI Indonesia in collaboration with the West Nusa Tenggara (WNT) Energy Agency and ICENERGY INSTITUTE. The program attracted over 50 key participants, including WNT officials from various agencies, the private sector, academia, and student representatives from vocational schools. The training aimed to enhance local capacities for preparing bankable renewable energy projects. Participants showed strong engagement, with over 75% completing the survey and expressing a good understanding of the material. Feedback highlighted the need for further training on specific topics, such as operations and maintenance, particularly for university and vocational school participants.
