This project is evaluating approaches in pilot areas in Indonesia and Malaysia and building on these results to develop specific financing schemes, business models and fiscal policy recommendations. The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) is being utilised to scale up the insights gained to the regional level.

  4. Indonesia National Determined Contribution to reducing GHG to 31.89 percent unconditionally and 43.20 percent conditionally, especially to 60% expected reduction contribution via the Forestry and Other Land Use (FOLU) Net Carbon Sink by 2030.
