The Global Landscapes Forum (GLF) supports restoration work led by youth in Indonesia through the GLFx Chapters, and the Restoration Stewards program.

GLFx Kalimantan – run by Ranu Welum Foundation – organized The Heartland Project which aims to restore degraded forests and burned peatlands. This year, it has involved 450+ youth in various activities, including planting 2,655 trees and distributing 200 fruit-tree seedlings to two villages through a live-in (KKN) program.

In Sukabumi, GLFx Java – run by Patera Foundation – supports a community-led forest restoration project to regreen 1,778 hectares of degraded land. The project, now in the preliminary stage, aims to develop a collaborative restoration grounded in local practice and wisdom.
