In an effort to standardize methods and databases for Indonesia’s GHG inventory, WRI Indonesia has been supporting the integration of the national climate portal. On September 27, a focus group discussion brought together representatives from the Ministry of National Development Planning, the Ministry of Forestry and Environment, and the Ministry of Finance. The session highlighted the need for aligning data—standards, metadata, and portals—across government platforms such as AKSARA, SIGN-SMART, SRN, and CBT. This alignment ensures smoother data input and usage for effective program evaluation and budget management, enhancing system interoperability and improving Indonesia’s emissions reporting to achieve climate goals.
