WRI Indonesia recognizes the importance of data analysis related to vulnerability and climate change risk assessments for integrated adaptation and resilience strategies in coastal planning. We are currently conducting a study on integrating these factors into spatial planning in Indonesia. An expert consultation was held to discuss proposed frameworks for enhancing climate strategies and to select spatial data and socio-economic indicators for vulnerability assessments. This focus group discussion took place in Bandung on August 26, 2024, involving faculty from the Climate Change Center and the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Technology at Institut Teknologi Bandung as panelists.
