A ceremonial handover of the 100% Renewable Energy Roadmap for West Nusa Tenggara (WNT) took place during the local launch and dissemination event on September 19, 2024, in Mataram City, WNT. The event gathered nearly 70 key stakeholders from various sectors, including local and national government, private industry, PT PLN, academia, and civil society, underscoring the importance of collective action. Victorino Aquitania, Regional Director of ICLEI Southeast Asia, highlighted the collaborative nature of the initiative, stating, “WNT province can achieve its goal of 100% renewable energy and become a beacon of sustainable development for others to follow.” The agenda featured detailed presentations on the Roadmap’s strategic framework and action plans, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session on “Collaborative Actions Toward 100% Renewable Energy in West Nusa Tenggara.
